The portuguese team  has landed in Moscow ahead of the match against Russia that pits together the two outright favourites to win World Cup qualifying group F. Injuries remain a concern for Paulo Bento

The Real Madrid pair both picked up knocks in last Sunday’s El Clasico in Barcelona. The loss of either player would be a big blow to Portugal. Captain Ronaldo has been in phenomenal form of late, scoring eight goals in his last three matches, while Pepe was many people’s choice as Portugal’s player of the tournament at Euro 2012.

As for the opposition, the towering centre-back expects nothing other than a tough match against Portugal’s main rivals for top spot in the group and the only automatic qualifying berth.
